Our Writing
Public messaging, feature writing and expert interviewing for emergency preparedness
Connect Content writes public messaging content that turns official advice into easy, achievable steps people can actually follow before, during and after a crisis.
For RNZ, we worked with the team to select topics and source the right experts to interview for a series on emergency preparedness: practical ways to protect yourself, your whānau and the things you value. Each piece mixes feature writing with bullet-pointed tips, written to be accurate and easy to act on under pressure. The content is built as evergreen: it lives permanently on the RNZ website and can be republished again and again across radio, web and social whenever a disaster is imminent or has just happened.

End-to-end customer case study copywriting services for AI SaaS companies
Connect Content builds and runs customer case study programmes for SaaS companies, managing everything from interview strategy to final approval, so founders and marketing teams don't have to chase the process themselves.
For Marloo, an AI meeting assistant and document generator for financial advice, we were brought in at the start to help establish how the company tells customer stories. We set the writing style and tone, built interview brief templates and a bank of core questions, then took over running the programme: scheduling and conducting interviews with customers across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, writing up each story, managing copy approvals with customers, and sourcing story images. It's an ongoing engagement, freeing Marloo's team to focus on their product while we handle turning real customer conversations into stories that show prospective advisers how using Marloo could transform their business.
In-depth investigative feature writing
Connect Content researches and writes in-depth investigative features that bring together expert interviews, personal case studies and thorough research to explore complex, sensitive topics with nuance. This RNZ health feature investigated whether a woman's right to choose how she gives birth should extend to a planned caesarean. My body, my choice — but what if that choice is a caesarean? draws on interviews with medical experts and the personal stories of women who have faced this decision, unpacking a debate that sits at the intersection of bodily autonomy, medical risk and maternal choice.
Upstock: Interviewing and copywriting for customer case studies
Connect Content writes customer case studies through in-depth interviewing, turning real conversations with customers into stories that show prospective buyers what it's actually like to use a product.
For fast-growing hospitality wholesaling app Upstock, we interview customers directly to draw out the honest, human details that generic case studies miss: the frustrations they had before Upstock, and the moment the software clicked for their business. We then write up each story to show how Upstock's software drives real growth for real businesses, in the customer's own words.
